Although Sundays are always about all-star game selections in showcase and camp events, day three of the MSHTV Camp gave us one last opportunity to identify those standout performers we have missed earlier in the weekend.  One such stud was Alex Constanza (6’7″/SG/2026/Miami, FL), who took center stage in a match up with Christopher Washington Jr. and put on a show!  More specifically, in one stretch in his head-to-head match up with Washington, Constanza drained 4 consecutive deep treys to send the packed crowd into a frenzy. He’s not just a legitimate threat from the perimeter, but Constanza has solid ball skills for his size and has no problem getting to and finishing at the rim.  Needless to say, with his size, athleticism and skill set, Constanza already projects as a high major prospect. We also got a closer look at one of the top 1 or 2 players in Ohio in Joshua Tyson (5’6″/PG/2027/Cincinnati, OH).  We’ve had the pleasure of seeing Tyson play on numerous occasions and he always delivers.  Tyson is a 3-level scorer who is highly skilled, plays hard, plays the game the right way and always gets his teammates involved.  Not only can he get his own bucket, his court vision and passing skills are excellent. Another great weekend for Tyson.

Ethan Vahl (5’6/PG/2028/Chicago, IL) caught our eye with elite skill set, ball skills, court vision and ability to find open teammates.  In fact, Vahl was one of the better ball distributers we saw all weekend. Brady Petttigrew (5’6″/PG/2028/Chicago, IL) was also impressive on Sunday and demonstrated what a true floor general looks like. Moreover, he plays with good pace and poise, he has some swag, and he can either create his own shot or make plays for teammates. Although Pettigrew can score the rock and shoots the ball well with range, his court vision and passing skills are elite.  We also really liked Anthony Thompson (5’10″SG/2026/Lebenon, OH), who was very athletic, got to the rim and finished plays consistently. Finally, the Cincinnati gang, consisting of Le’Shawn Hill, Bryce Curry and Amir Phillips, all logged in productive weekends and punched their ticket to the 2027 all-star game.  All in all it was a great weekend of basketball, and once again, Ty Kish and his staff did an outstanding job of both assembling talent and running a first class event!  We hope to see many of these players at our October 23rd Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase!
