The final week of the Jr. Brick League went out with a bang, as the final 2 games of the regular season went right down to the wire before a winner could be crowned.

However, game one of the night was not very close, as Team Buckeye Prep jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.  Buckeye Prep used solid defense, dribble penetration, jump shots and a total team effort to easily get by Team Whitt on their way to the win and an overall 3-1 record.

Although Buckeye Prep was led in scoring by David Johnson III, Tony Jones Jr.Jordan Taylor and Carter Watson, every player on the team contributed both offensively and defensively. Other standouts on the night included: Kyle DarfusJulian Winner, Kason Angret, Robert Jameson and Takeo Berry.

Next up is the Jr. Brick League championship game on Saturday, which will represent a rematch between Team Buckeye Prep and Team Fisher. If this game is anything like the initial matchup in the opening week, it should be highly contested. Stay tuned for the championship game recap, as well as our choices for All-Brick League Teams!
